Red Rock Canyon on scenic highway 12 in Dixie National Forest in Utah. This canyon is just a few miles from the entrance to Bryce Canyon National Park, and so is often ignored or bypassed on the way to the better known tourist attraction. However, this canyon displays some of the reddest rock anywhere in Utah, with amazing formations though on a smaller scale. As part of a national forest, it is and interesting and photogenice place to hike and enjoy Utah's wonders.
