Built in 1944, it was the last steam locomotive delivered to Union Pacific and is the only steam locomotive never retired by a North American Class I railroad. It is a massive engine, with Engine and Tender on the 844 weighing 454 tons and enthusiasts claim it was capable of speeds of 120mph.
