First Order Fresnel Lens in museum at Point Arena Lighthouse on the pacific coast in northern California. The original lighthouse was completd in 1870 and a first order lens was installed. After an earthquake in 1906 destroyed tower and lens, a new, 115 foot concrete-reinforced lighthouse was built and this new first order Fresnel lens was installed. The lighthouse was automated in 1977.
